Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:1-15
Paul reminds us that we have the mind of Christ and the Holy Spirit livening in us. We are Gods field and His building. There is a grace upon each of us to build, be, walk in all Jesus has for us. You and me are a gift to one another. We are best when we truly partner together. Partnership is the key thought as we unpack this passage, biblical, real, invested partnership. And all can only be built on a solid sure foundation, no other than Jesus.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:11-16
This week we continue with 1 Corinthians 2. Received here is one of the key words in this passage. Received with initiative, a responsibility to activate what has been given. This is Paul’s reminder to us. Why do we not make use of what Jesus had given to us? Our ability to “appraise, judge” things is a result of laying hold of what we have been given. Those who lay hold are those who choose to live as who they really are; new creation, spiritual person.

Scripture: 1 Cor 2: 1- 10
Building towards our key scripture in 1 Cor 3:11, Paul come to the church in Corinth to comfort, challenge and correct them. He remind them nothing is being withheld, but their maturity is in question and therefore they are lacking application. So much available to us as believers in Christ, knowing the depth of God - because we have the Holy Spirit living us, the Spirit of God. We get to choose our rate of maturity, depending on how we engage with grace and truth.

Which S(s)pirit

Scripture: Deuteronomy 8:6-18
Which spirit is going to be the overwhelming voice into our lives as believers and therefore into the life of the church? How do we guard against the patterns ands rhythms of this world in order to walk in the ways of God. The subtlety that the enemy uses in order to distract us from a life of joy and delight. I hope this podcast helps you to begin to ask the right questions for you and your family so that you give thought to what or who is actually directing you?

My heart, His design

Scripture: Proverbs 23:26, Proverbs 3:5-6, Ephesians 2:10, John 17:8
Gods heart for His church is family, a people on a mission, who are His disciples growing, influencing and reproducing themselves. Seems so simple! We discuss what are the obstacles to this picture of simplicity. Maybe the one major problem, is TRUST. Do we actually trust God, truth people. Trust involves our heart. But we are so risk adverse as a generation, that we protect or control. What would it look like to RISK It is God? To know that our capacity is only as much as our deepest wound. Will Jesus really meet me in that space, so that I can begin to Trust again and live in the simplicity of the Gospel.
